Dear Earth,

You know, I feel like Victoria's been through enough in the last few weeks, without you throwing earth tremors at us too.

Also, I'm not really sure Queensland needs a cyclone just now either.

So stop. Just... stop. What is this - natural disaster month?

Obviously mother earth works on the same logic as the mother in law: any attention from either mother is good, because it shows that she cares, instead of just ignoring us and pretending we're not a part of her life...

Or, that's the explanation (of sorts) I get from my in law, as to why she phones... and makes the walls shake... this probably isn't the best analogy, huh?
