You are 94% English.

Congratulations! You may now take your place as a subject of Her Majesty.

"And did those feet
In ancient times,
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
In England's pleasant pastures seen?"

Well, no, but it's a cracking good tune.

How English are you?

The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. Eliot

God, you're indecisive. You're not that great, but you don't know if you want to accept that. You appreciate beauty and observe things others may not, but you're also hopelessly impaled on your own foolish romanticism. Go you.

I totally didn't cheat on this one...

you are purple
#800080

Your dominant hues are red and blue. You're confident and like showing people new ideas. You play well with others and can be very influential if you want to be.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

via... oh god I can't remember now and i can't find the bugger again. Oh well.

So the theory is, here are ten things I assume you know about me. Or maybe you don't ;D Perhaps it more correctly should be ten things that it would be useful to know about me if you were trying to "understand" me. Or something. In no particular order, apart from the order they come to mind in... are five things, 'cos I can't think of ten. I might add more later as they come to mind, but for now, this is it, baby :D

1.I'm English... I was born in a not so nice suburb of Birmingham, a not so nice industrial city in the West Midlands. Although we emmigrated before I turned 2, I was brought up in a very English household, and as such still have my weird mongrel accent, and some very English habits. You can take the girl out of Brummy...

2. I'm sick... I have a disorder called Reflex Symapthetic Dystrophy, which is almost as much fun to have as it is to say. It's a disorder of the sympathetic nervous system, and basically means that I'm neurologically toast. I couldn't walk for a year when I first got it, and walked with a stick for another six months after that. The symptoms have now shifted into my hands, extremely frustrating. Some days I'm fine, others I can't feel or even move my hands, and there's a world of contrast in between.

3. I don't really like talking about myself... But I'm learning. I blame the English thing. And the very average choices I've made in friends over the years. But I'm getting there, slowly. See this meme for instance...

4. I'm retarded when it comes to my friends... Despite everything, I'm that sort of person who believes my friends can do no wrong. This is both A Good Thing and A Very, Very, Bad Thing. It makes me a fiercely loyal friend, woe betide anyone who wrongs the people I care about. But it makes me blind to some of my friends fairly major faults, and leaves me very open to being used. Again. It also bites when when they turn on each other, and I'm supposed to take sides. Nothing hurts me more than the people I care about setting out to hurt each other.

5. Okay I lied... Looks like you're only getting four.

I wonder if the fact that I can only think of four things that you should know about me or might need to know about me tells more than the rest of it put together?

A Quick and Dirty IQ Test

Joe Normal
43 % Nerd, 30% Geek, 13% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so
much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street
even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren't much of an outcast. I'd say there's a fair chance someone asked you to take this test. In any event, fairly normal.
Congratulations!
